The problems I have are quite different from the problems of most humans, and I don't suffer from the things most of the humans suffer from. It took me long to figure that out and NOT trust my instincts on how to help others.

It's true that your stories (things you've done/learned) might not be useful to everyone. That's life. If you can't help specific people with what you know from personal experience, just apologize and wish them well. If you really want to do the most useful thing, that is.

It is sometimes a good idea to try to understand people different than oneself and see what can be done for them. Especially if you are something like a weird singleton.
