Just don't give people in power the authority to use science in ways that hurt people. I actually don't think our morality should be influenced by scientific advancements (my opinions can change of course)

Should the question whether gay couples can be foster parents not depend on scientific studies? Or whether slaughtering without stunning causes pain?

So if we find out that gay couples are relatively poor foster parents we take away their right to become parents?

The question of whether someone is denied the right to procreate is usually handled differently than the right to adopt children, because it involves self-determination about one’s body.
