The question is if there can be a metacomputational algebra from which booleanism fully insulates me, a kind of more-than-computational (quantum-computational?) consistently generative automaton, over which the universe and mind emerge.

You're already full of automatons. A neuron can be more aptly described as an automaton than a summation over inputs followed by a nonlinearity.

Yes, ANN and 'conditional excite/distribute' neuron use different approximator paradigms. But both are computational abstractions. What if the correct abstraction is metacomputational, and we cannot get there from computationalism?

You need a Consciousness Canary.

I already have aphantasia, and naturally I cannot remember if I always had it, and if it's progressing. On the other hand, the most computationalist people I know (like Fredkin and Wolfram) are autistic but seem very conscious

Be very careful. You may have discovered the riddle https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Riddle_of_the_Universe_and_Its_Solution …

Heh. Unfortunately our condition is more inconnous: you won't warn your environment by becoming catatonic, but simply turn into a p zombie
