No offense taken! Based on some people I consider to be knowledgeable, the leaks were correct, which is consistent with the reaction of the involved governments and Snowden himself. It might be an elaborate ruse, but I find it more plausible that detracting from them is a ruse!

The infosec community deduced the probable existence of most of these techniques years ago based on means, motivation, funding and bits of evidence. But the political fallout was huge; parliaments and industry are NOT fine with it.
