"you religious people"? seriously?

I think when we are rising above the level of the mind of an infant and seriously follow truth wherever it leads, we must become either religious, sociopathic or nihilist. You can also pick more than one.

No, you can a) realize the arbitrariness of everything and b) choose to do good, to be good. It just means you're free from HAVING to accept the answer that was given to you. Now, the REAL mindfuck is lack of any kind of free will. Better to ignore it ;)

Free will may be understood as the ability to do what you think is right. The more you understand that, the less room you have for confusion, and the more you must submit. The opposite of free will is not determinism or coercion, but compulsion.

"Freewill" is merely our Operating System. When we realize that we're not in control we experience Ego Dissolve.

I don't think this is exactly how it works.

Yes, ego dissolve doesn't last long.

I don't think that you identified the cause of ego dissolution. Unfortunately, for some people it lasts very long, and it impairs normal functioning.

I'm not sure I fully grasp ego dissolution. Although I do believe I've achived it a few times while creating art, but that's a very pleasant experience. But the thing I think I'm trying to say about Determinism is the feeling of being like a puppet of the cosmos.

The realization that everything is compulsive; good or bad. All depends on prior programming / experiences. Which were also dependent on prior events and experiences and so on forever until the beginning of time.

These are different frames of reference. Compulsion is behavior that is not controlled by an integrated self, but where low level behavior breaks the hierarchy of control and acts against your higher level goals. It is behavior that tends to make you unhappy.
