The fact that most of us effortlessly disagree with said leader on this, and by the way also overwhelmingly don't support racial segregation, slavery, gender based discrimination any more etc. shows that we have come a long way, no?

Yes, there are more of us that disagree with Trump than agree. It would be better if more of *them* were in United in disagreement with us; however Trump has exposed to us who *they* are. Now we know who *they* are among our families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.
