why not? it's like if you were to own the moon made of gold orbiting the saturn. you'd be richest in the world, yeas, but your gold would be completely useles. of course, it's different in that he can endlessly withdraw small amounts

He wouldn't cash out all at once. If he moved any of the early coins, it can be seen on the blockchain, and the market would crash. He would slowly start with the newest coins he minted, that would probably be sufficiently below the radar and last a long time for him.
