Ideologies systematically distort world models by introducing a fictional normative prior ("good and evil"). This warping makes it effectively impossible to correctly assess the material effects of policies, and to comprehend all other world models. Ideologues are always pawns.
The problem with these tools is that the price of convergence is breaking the rational epistemology of the individual, but what if that turns out to be the only way to create the convergence required for scalable civilization?
