That said, I think I'm pretty happy with popularizing the term "slaughterbots". Any decision about use that can be swung by the language "slaughterbots" instead of "autonomous weapons" should probably have been for non-use anyway.
To be honest, slaughterbots can save the lives of your own troops, and kill the enemy more efficiently and humanely. (Unfortunately, they are also decreasing the cost and thus threshold and incidence of armed conflict.)

Also, Hitler was a vegetarian. (I am personally opposed to autonomous weapons btw., but would like to point out the obvious flaw in the common arguments.)
