Well.. in today's science based on death but not on life, we define the body based on what kills it when removed. It is all binary.

But this question is not answered honestly by anyone: what is the minimum number of cells you hace to kill in order to kill the body.

With this temporal relation, it becomes obvious that when the body is deprived of its environment for a period of time, it will also die.

Nicely said. Life is defined by complex relationships. But might it be, the same is true for "dead" (inanimate) matter?

Biological life is cells. As long as a cell functions (remains in dynamic homoestasis) there is life.

But those cells only can form "life" if a large set of complex environmental factors are just right. Are those part of "life" ?

Why is that an important question and not just a word game?

Its a question of where life starts and stops ~ of what should be considered alive and what not. Fuzzy line

Beyond that you have self-stabilizing and reproducing negentropy scrapers that optimize via mutation and selection?
