This is true for understanding, because it relies on language. But I think it's not true for experience. We experience new tastes over time.

It is true that our experience may be cluttered from past experiences. But if we have a clear mind, I think we do experience novelty.

I am generally suspicious of language. It is a useful tool, but often too limited. Animals don't have language, but they have experiences.

Our brain is a hierarchical synthesizer that produces a simulated world, which we experience as reality. Language reports on that.
