@HenkPoley Traditionally, the US does not care much about the privacy of foreigners. Not sure if Germany does?

@Plinz East Germany / Russia was pretty famous for the fact that you had to meticulously describe your travel plans in advance. -
@HenkPoley During the cold war, I think it made sense, because attractivity for travel was less important than danger of political sabotage
