Not every great mind is a conversationalist, especially in public. When they are too smart and specialized they only have a handful of true peers, and they don’t develop the habit of interacting with the half baked ideas of mere mortals in real time.

Loved it. Next time have someone mediate the conversation. We can’t all make the leaps of deduction you did. Some sections felt like falling from one plateau to lower or higher connected plateau. Yes, this conversation sometimes had us falling upwards.
