I am sick and tired over the grift of politicization of mundane statistical algorithms as 'dangerous AI', but I am also concerned that currently, there seem to be no state or society level actors that should be entrusted with dangerously disruptive [hypothetical] AI technologies
How about at least a billion people living in seven generations from now under conditions of self actualization and non-violence?

Much clearer, but leaves a lot of wiggle room. Let's say you were going to design an institution that would be appropriate to entrust with dangerous (read: powerful) AI technology. What would that organization look like?

I don't have a very good answer to that, but I would like to find out. I know a number of people that I would trust in such a context.
