If the universe is deterministic & this is all scripted, and the feeling that 'things could have been different' is an illusion, then all communication is as wooden as the words of an actor on a stage. But the actor knows she's acting.
-
Things could have been different, because things are units of incomplete models. In the total perspective, there are no things.

A character in a constant fight between “this is a simulation” and “I’m feeling hunger”.
