Atheists tend to be in the rational camp and think of God as a conceptual idea. However, God is a perceptual model of a social control architecture. At the core, God is the primary reward function.

is there really a difference [two different types of knowledge]? i mean, isn't 'perceiving' always part of the process of rational analysis? you perceive/predict, you (try to) make sense of the world, all the time.
-
no, rationalists tend to construct analytic models that explain their own behavior instead of experiencing their own emotion and motivation well enough to build a perceptual model of their self

Is there a phenomenological difference (in consciousness) between conceptual and perceptual knowledge? For me, the former is a form (image/word) and the latter is a feeling.
-
Perhaps the consciousness is always of the same quality, only the cause is always different.
