Do you think that physically, the moment of now is different from all other moments (that it's the only actual moment, while all others are potential)? Are all moments nows? Is there a succession of moments, or is the succession only apparent? Do states exist or only transitions?
Wolfram was using that trick to encode momentum, I think, but you can also store all momentum data in the present state
