I have decided that it's not worth it. I will use UI elements in matplotlib for prototyping, a websocket to render in Unity, and when I need more I will have to write everything in a C and import it to Python, or ditch the Python completely. Pysimplegui needs to many workarounds.

Have you tried plotly dash (https://dash.plotly.com/ )? It lets you write a React app in Python, and has some good component libraries to get started (depending on your needs). And it's always possible to add (roll your own) React components in Javascript
