What’s a book you read that you would 100% recommend to anyone who asks? And why?

The most sacred books are only significant for the right people. The most useful books are only useful for the people that can make use of them. The other books are going to be boring and pointless to many. So there is no book I would recommend to everyone.

Okay two questions (1) you don’t believe there’s at least one thing that everyone should know? (2) what is a book you personally found valuable?

I'm sorry to bother you, but which "Nature of truth" book are you recommending? There are quite a few of those. Thanks in advance :)

Francis Bacon was most influential. Kant's Critique of Pure Reason covered much ground for me, but I have not re-read it in a long time. I liked The Origin of Objects (Smith); it made me think a lot, even where I did not buy it. Descartes' Meditations is a great thought starter.
