It needs to be a very particular type of wealthy to be incorruptible.

I don't see wealth as being the solution, that's usually perceived as the opposite of incorruptible (insert conspiracy theory involving media baron). Journalism is a job like any other, meaning there are a few bad ones, many mediocre journos and a few good ones.
