Deliveries still take weeks, and willing individuals have probably already mostly donated their surplus. Best bet might be to talk to companies that are distributing strategic reserves? We also have some successful local calls for donation of small quantities of masks on Nextdoor

No reason to be defensive. Lots of quality reporting by Vox throughout this crisis. They have a way higher information helpfulness ratio than tech.
