I've been asking myself the same question as many of you: do you think that our muggers, car burglars, packet thieves and other outdoor criminals will begin practicing 'social distancing' until this is over?https://twitter.com/auderdy/status/1240097572905082882 …

Most of these people are *not* this by profession It’s a high school kid A homeless fellow A mother who grew up “in that life” It’s usually a last resort or because it seems the easiest way to acquire Many people will become looters, robbers, muggers if the supply falters

I lived in a country that had eliminated social insecurity: you were guaranteed a job, a home and free healthcare. We still had asocial people, those that found themselves unable or intrinsically uninterested to play by the rules. Not all evil and suffering results from injustice

I live in St. Louis and was introduced to the streets through boxing in the inner city as teenager “Naturally” I became involved with these things & know people who still are But I think I misrepresented my idea; I have robbed. I have sold drugs. I was a convicted felon at 17

But I am not a robber. I’m not a drug dealer. I am not a felon. That occurred over a 2-3 period of my life. I am 24 now. It reflects 1/8 to 1/12 of the length of my life. I was not a professional. I was just a stupid ass kid. These are the people who commit these crimes

(For clarification I am convicted felon. But never once do I think of myself as one. Different me, different life. People change)

For further clarification I never disagreed with your initial point. My point was that in fact *more* people are going to do it in the face of being virgins to scarcity
