No, I am member of a weird kind of mutant subspecies that is willing to think and decide for themselves. If you have a good study that contradicts me I am grateful, meanwhile I can point you at sources if you have not seen them.

The WHO advises that in addition to wearing masks, you also need to keep your hands clean etc. I have not seen any study that supports the claim that masks don't reduce the risk of infection, but several in support.

No. This is incorrect and irresponsible. Follow WHO guidelines.https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public/when-and-how-to-use-masks …

I appreciate that you are trying to set things right, but the WHO does not say that masks don't help, they ask to also keep your hands clean. The WHO is aware of mask shortness in the West though. I don't know of studies that show ineffectiveness of masks. Do you?

Where is the source for your quite adventurous claims?

Eg https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2662657/ … (protecting against influenca infection), https://academic.oup.com/cid/article/49/2/275/405108 … (protecting others). Do you have a study that shows that masks are ineffective?
