Coronavirus is probably less lethal than 2%. Considering how tough the isolation most probably don't show up at hospitals until they have severe symptoms. And out of those probably 2% die. The WHO just came back from visiting China, saying that they have not found evidence for large scale undetected mild cases, and that we should brace for Chinese mortality rates (currently >3%, or 5% once ICUs are full). Imho it's too early to relax before we curb infection rates.

At the moment, a good case scenario for the US still means ten times the total yearly flu deaths, or three opioid epidemics. A really bad scenario with 40% infected and 5% of those dying will be remembered as a holocaust level event. We need to make sure that does not happen.
