We don't need God to underwrite morality. We don't need free will to underwrite autonomy. And we don't need phenomenal essence to underwrite subjectivity.

Most of these concepts are lost in translation between different ontologies. Eg., gods are selfs spanning multiple brains, and God is the platonic shape of an intentional agent implemented by a lucid civilization. In this sense, civilizational aesthetics are crucial to morality.
