The greater whole is not the group, unless the group is maximally whole and great. Eg. your ingroup is not great and American society is not whole.

You nailed it. I’m pretty much living as a recluse bc of it. I don’t fit in any group. I always think there is something wrong with me. I talk to much, as you probably have noticed .

No, you probably don't talk too much. But you are sharing your unfiltered thoughts. You are probably just a nerd (aspie). Did you look for your group at aspie events (hacker conferences, concerts of special music you like, rationalist meetups...)?

Basically, check yourself: if you would meet a person that shares thoughts with you in the same generous and unfiltered way as you do with others, would you be annoyed or enjoy it? I suspect it would be the latter. You just have to find people like yourself.

I don’t make friends easily bc I seem to offend people . Most people aren’t very logical. Predictable when in groups they all agree on things they never investigated . And when I suggest books to read about that subject they don’t want to read it . And say I’m a know it all and

Or arrogant. I’m not at all ,on the contrary. I suffer from social anxiety. Bc when I’m quiet they think there is something wrong with me and when I talk they think I’m arrogant. I can’t win .
