The lady I met with a brain injury including her corpus callosum called her left hand her “naughty hand”. She said it would sometimes throw drinks over people or try to slap them, and she had to stop it doing so using her right hand.

Yes, but the corpus callosum weaves them together into a single tapestry. Not fundamentally unlike what individuals in society do using language. We are legion.
