In the same way, we probably have priors for rules of social interaction, and for the structure of the self, and for our basic ontology. The knowledge that we acquire later is often reverse engineering these priors, i.e. makes them explicit so we can discuss them.
The priors are just strong tendencies for forming certain tacit knowledge. The explicit knowledge is probably not innate.
