Yes that's true. You can even summon spirits, which is nothing else than instancing an object of a software within your brain you do not interact with directly usually.

Most importantly, a spirit imparts its own nexus of autonomous agency. It cannot be fully controlled, which is why it can be dangerous to summon it. Your own core is not more than a spirit as well.

But, of course, the 'spirit' has no knowledge of grass or growth... Just as 'operating systems' do not encode 'business rules'. In fact, it is humans that project business rules onto the computer actions/ behaviour. Computers are dumb.

Explicit knowledge is a second order model of tacit knowledge. The operating system of a plant implements tacit knowledge about growth, and quite certainly some second order knowledge too. (That does not imply that this knowledge can be analyzed or communicated by the plant.)

I think that you misunderstand the Kabbalah as some kind of mysterious fairytale. They probably talk literally about control software that is implemented via electric interactions, not some allegorical evolutionary telos.

It’s true. A spirit is the operating system of an autonomous robot, such as a human being, a cat, a plant, a city, a nation state, an ecosystem or a cell.
