That’s one of the most basic ontological axioms - either something came from nothing, or something has always existed. There is no third option of which I’m aware. And both possibilities are equally impossible to our terrestrial understanding of time and causality.

I think it depends on how you define "no existence" of smth. Your tweet suggests that you define nonexistence as NULL. I would define nonexistence as infinite entropy and existence as pattern. Based on this assumption existance of smth is no surprise.
