Philosophy is mostly indexed by the names of philosophers, so they are more focused on creating recognizable brands than thinkers from other fields, and even refrain from revising their ideas, to remain recognizable. The best ideas are unrecognizable, because they are ubiquitous.

And Kolmogorov Complexity? Maybe you need to give more time for a remarkable philosophical insight to emerge. Also it is not clear there is progress in philosophy. It might be just orbits and people forgetting where it came from.

I would rather point to Goedel and his idea to internalize mathematics via his numbering technique that, ultimately, applies to any language. And yes this idea has not yet been discussed and accepted as it should have been (contrary to relativity, quantum mechanics etc.).
