It is not enough to consciously buy or not buy things on Black Friday, we also have to do it for exactly the right reasons while being exactly on the right level of woke. Otherwise, the consequences of the moral hazard will be disastrous for us mindful mid-tier tech executives.

“mindful” has a transparent veneer of judgement even if that wasn’t the original intent, because the intentional decision creates a value system. This is but an example of a larger phenomena.
