But unlike you, they knew that fire is not energy

Also, there were sometimes 5 elements, with an extra "aether" or "spirit" included, which we could say is more like what we call electromagnetic waves, but I like the Native American and Wiccan 4 types, personally. Mostly because the songs are so pretty.https://youtu.be/RyVctWoMgvA

Spirit is software. Aether is the vacuum substrate. The latter has a relationship to electromagnetic waves (the 3space we inhabit is the electromagnetic interaction space), but it's not the same.

Yeah, in the 5 category system spirit/aether (which are both the fifth thing after earth, air, fire, and water, just in different cultures) is more pure energy, or something. With just 4, fire includes all of the most energetic things from fire to plasma to information/waves.

You don’t seem to understand the nature of energy. But you are confident that you can translate the ontologies of all other cultures into your own hobbyist philosophy. Whatever does not fit will be made to fit. What motivates you to do that? Is it really serving your purposes?

And I'm not confident of anything, really.

Yes, you seem unaware of where your understanding ends and where you are just pasting over the gaps. You also don’t seem to care very much

Well, I can only be aware of what I'm aware of. If the universe needs me to be aware of something new, it will show it to me. Same goes for what I care about. My primary care is helping everyone be free to be themselves.

Your primary care seems to tell the best stories. The above is a pretty good story in the sense that you like it, and you can make it interesting, meaningful and almost indistinguishable from the truth. I like you, but I don't like your aesthetics.

I don't think I have aesthetics. So maybe that's why you don't like them. :-)

You have very strong aesthetics, but perhaps not enough self awareness to notice them as such?

Isn't aesthetics something you have to intentionally use? Like, can you accidentally be aesthetic?

One starts out with a set of preferences and constraints: the axioms and generator rules that get expanded into the world that you find preferable and the self that you want to inhabit. You don't have to be deliberate for that. Your aesthetics are quite autonomous but so sloppy
