No, God is the consciousness, or at least the self of being a self perpetuating hive mind. This self can be killed, usually with the result of breaking the architecture of meaning and coordination of a polis.

huh? really cool take, but even if there exists an entity that is the self of being a self perpetuating hivemind, it doesn't seem to me that that entity is God, instead of the usual notion of God being God!

Interestingly, the hivemind itself could, as a sideeffect of transmission, transmit, (lossily, not that it matters) a seed for a tulpa, and if you think tulpas are conscious..

..then there exists a conscious egregore which plants (related) consciousnesses where it goes- it lays eggs of a different type of creature in your head...

"(related)" bc its transmission is lossy. mutation, parents, therefore familial relation

Don't you see that the Abrahamic Gods are functionally intentional exoselfs that get access rights to regulating the relationship between self and environment on your own cortex? The mythology is not the specification, but the boot loader.
