Even if humans can make an artificial general intelligence, it will be bootstrapped to the technology created by humans, & by extension, to biology & to the chemistry of biology. I want to explore how chemical systems develop AGI...from the bottom up.
What came of your recent epiphany? Did your thoughts converge to a stable core insight?

Btw, I am deeply skeptical, because I don't see intelligent chemical systems, you seem to need cells first, and cells are computational machines, which use chemistry for message passing. But I am very curious about your ideas! Did you follow Dave Ackley's work btw?
