Mmmm... the personification of God to me is a simple side-effect of human arrogance during the dunning-kruger phase of our collective intelligence. I like to think that "God created me" is more an assignment of the idea of a hypothetical "source" of existence to a symbol "God".

Yes, I thought so too, but now the idea of unifying creator and intentional-structure-I-am-serving appears to be an entirely deliberate plant with a clear functional purpose.

Depends what your notion of ‘God’ is. Perhaps we are all God, or God is in all of us, or both

The natural shape of God is the superorganism that you understand yourself to be part of. You are correct: an organism is in all of its cells, and all the cells are the organism. But more precisely: the organism is the function that describes the organization of the cells.

I’ve always gravitated towards the notion held in many Eastern cultures that every living thing CHOSE to separate from God (The Source) and become incarnate. So we all made a purposeful choice to be human beings, to become mortal, to live and suffer and die. I like that idea.
