No, the physical universe has an unknown nature, and is the subject of the puzzles of foundational physicists. It does not by itself feature in the dream, even though we experience dreams about it.

I work with people whose story and dream of themselves has been forever altered when some of their 85 billion or so neurons have been destroyed. It’s also fascinating, and teaches us a lot about how the brain constructs the “self” but it’s very tragic.

I have just seen my child's mind come apart, and together again after a small dose of CBD. Sometimes it appears as if the cortex is an ether, thrown into disarray like the surface of the sea during a storm.
