Though question (easy for the experts on PSI of which I know nothing). Fully explaining the ‘hard problem’ implies proposing a model which has the same phenomenological experiences as us. Or we could demonstrate the possibility to have general intelligence zombies (which I doubt)

Another option (the one I am taking) is to create a model where the subjective experience fits perfectly without focusing on its realization while working on the learning/problem solving areas which, in the most part, can be studied without invoking consciousness

Seeing from very high level in my model, *all* top down activity is conscious and *all* bottom up is not

I agree, plus I would add that bottom up activity has no access to top down sense-motives. To build a bottom up structure for computation is to impose a mechanical motive onto objects that are blind to that motive. Automation is the opposite of awareness.

Yes of course it matters. Objects don't have motives. Their behavior is governed by forces and statistics. Intelligence is the power to generate improved motives. If you aren't aware of the motives behind your behavior, then that behavior isn't intelligent.

I call my view https://multisenserealism.com/ IMO there are no conscious systems. There are conscious experiences which develop systemic qualities for support, but consciousness is irrelevant to survival. Unconscious mechanisms are superior for the survival game in all cases.

Does does not seem right? A lot of what we do that facilitates survival is unconscious, no? If you redefine conscious functioning to encompass unconscious behavior, what purpose does that serve?
