It's just a single consciousness of a recursive representation. Do you know the mode where you have multiple consciousnesses in parallel though? I find it really weird.

I don’t think it’s that simple. -
The difference between humans and other apes is probably length of childhood (longer development = more training data per layer), different rewards (= paying attention to different types of models) and different behavioral priors (= behaviors we are inclined to try first).
