In the literature on sex difference, mental rotation of 3D objects comes up all the time as a moderately sized difference. But who cares? Does that measure correlate with any real world outcomes?

You are taking one of the really fascinating questions in cognitive science, one that could elucidate a lot about how our brain computes functions and how general it is in that and how implementations differ, turn it around into a gender context and it falls apart for you.
