The whole point of calculus is that it enables you to calculate with infinitesimals / limits as with other mathematical objects, precisely not as approximations. Calculating the radius of a circle with 2 Pi circumference does not require any approximation.

Yes, but assuming that you already know Pi, which you don't. You just know enough of it so it does not matter in practice.
