I expect that some people will spam scientific journals and conferences with GPT-2 generated submissions. This could lead to a dramatic increase in the quality of the reviewing process: no acceptance without deep understanding. But it probably will just end blind peer review.

I like the Reddit or blog model, though, ideally, they would actually be organized, sortable by various parameters, and searchable. Because, you know, finding things is a good thing. Individuals can freely mute/hide others, but the public discussion needs to be fully open.
