Truth will out.
(Basically, a public commitment to confidence in the prevalence of truth does not do anything to indicate one's principal identification with the pro truth camp. You may want to send some costly signal instead, by divulging a really unpopular truth.)

Under the appropriate circumstances, I might. Here on Twitter one may also "shield the shorn sheep from the wind". I could have said Reality will out, but I was trying to be supportive of folks in fear of what " has come, is coming, or is to pass". ( Yeats).
