I'd like to opt out of "here-is-what-you-need-to-think-to-be-a-good-person" twitter, and "here-is-a-really-stupid-thing-a-person-said" twitter. I fail to see the good coming out of these categories.

This tweet is an example of the first thing. Maybe we're all stuck in these two categories. What's a better category?

don't mistake a statement about my preferences for a statement about what you should be doing to be a morally acceptable person

Is it right to characterize a failure to see the good in something as a preference? or is invoking the good inherently claiming some measure of universality, especially if it is invoked by a general intellect? (different from saying “I don’t like it”)

My expression was imprecise. I am able to see that if one is part of a cult and uses twitter to update the cult memes that parasitize their mind, and to police deviant memes, this type of communication is useful. I just don't have much use for that myself and find it distracting.
