He's got a lot of different parts to his ideas on consciousness. And some have been shown to be useful in measuring what's going on inside the brain. So I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say it's "wrong".

That was intended as a narrow opinion on IIT. I like the guy! How could one not. He is an examplar for critical and creative scientfic thinking & hangs with good people too. Strike *dead end*, instead " represents a conflation that is unlikely to work out"

Yes, I get that. I'm asking because he's got a lot of different ideas, and obviously some of them are pretty obviously useful. So I was wondering where you parted from his approach.
