It may be seen as an artifact of the Indian psychology that it prescribes submission to a hivemind, or an artifact of Maslow's one that prescribes autonomy.

We have heard Barbara Carrelles give a talk on exactly this topic. And Christopher Wallis not only show that there are other chakra systems in antiquity, but claim that the seven chakra model that is currently popular was adapted to it.

A decade ago, when I was into Ken Wilbur's integral theory, I compared a lot of growth theories to see where they overlap. The Chakras were in there. Maslow's was the most clear to me, though, so I used that as the basis for my (infinite binary growth) Maslow 2.0.

How can I learn more about this Maslow 2.0?!
