I sometimes wish I could do that in reality. I certainly do it in my life, but often have to wait until the dinner is over, and I‘m so impatient. Life is too short to argue against bad faith.

Self censorship can be a valuable default; relax it wisely. When we are so old that we no longer care about what others think about us, we can more clearly see that they will come after us regardless of the purity of our intentions.
