The question of why there is something rather than nothing has always been the ultimate embarrassment to me. In the last few years, I have come around to Max @tegmark's position: existence is quite possibly the default. Everything that is implementable is implemented.

ha, I wish ... working on it ... problem is we see mathematics as objective but it exists in our minds - we should at least try to experimentally confirm minds would collectively discover the same mathematical laws more than once before concluding all math describes some reality

I don't think that mathematics is made *specific* through our minds. The structures we discover are intrinsic to the glasperlenspiel. Our minds are enabled by such structures as well; mathematics is the domain of *all* languages.
