Yes, I can imagine ADAC is not the most neutral party, but the report is available*. For sure It's not universal as with BEVs a large battery is less economical and increases strain on the planet for manufacturing. The Tesla X is a primary car, not just inner city commute, so it needs a long range. However, EV batteries will be recycled to reuse the lithium, which will also get prices down in a few years from now.
