How do you imagine did that go? Someone from Vox sends an enraged DM to someone at Roku, and Roku writes back "oh sorry how could we forget that 'viewpoint neutrality' is broke"?

I'm as skeptical as Joscha here. The press release cited "concerned parties" only and did not specify who they were. Roku is as vulnerable as Patreon to being shut out of the system by financial transaction processors. It's the one piece of infrastructure they can't do.

if the complaint was from internet "journos" they could ignore it without consequence. if the complaint was from advertisers they could just say "so don't run ads on infowars, we don't have an advertising relationship with them as is". if the complaint is from MasterCard...

In that case I would have expected them to mention 'public' or 'customers', not 'concerned parties'?
